Organized by the Azerbaijan HR Institute, with NEQSOL Holding as the main sponsor and Azersun Holding, Passgage, Enocta, BP, Mega Life, Senswise, and Provide Solutions as sponsors, the "World HR Summit 2024" was held in Baku for the first time on February 28th. The event brought together CEOs of local and global companies, HR professionals, government officials, and entrepreneurs.
Emil Huseynov, Founder and Director of the Azerbaijan HR Institute, stated that the "World HR Summit 2024" is a global summit focused on sharing innovations in human resources worldwide, modern innovations in this field, technological advancements, and exchanging different experiences through dialogues, discussions, and knowledge sharing. The summit aligns with the third of the five national priorities planned for implementation over the next decade, as outlined in the "Azerbaijan 2030: National Priorities for Socio-Economic Development" approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, on February 2, 2021: "Competitive Human Capital and Modern Innovations." The event's key partner is the "UN Global Compact," the largest corporate sustainability network in the world, with over 15,000 companies and more than 5,000 members from over 160 countries.
Dave Ulrich, known as the “Father of Modern HR,” recognized as the #1 Management Guru by Business Week, one of the world's top 10 creative business people by Fast Company, one of the top 5 coaches on Forbes, and one of the top business thinkers globally according to Thinkers50, participated in the Opening Ceremony and panel discussions of the event. He also delivered a spectacular masterclass in Baku for the first time.
The event featured HR Directors from local and international companies, leaders from the world's leading consulting firms, and officials from government institutions, all coming together on a single platform to discuss the latest developments and future expectations in human resources management. Participants gained new insights and experiences on global HR trends, digital HR, artificial intelligence, and the future of learning and development, among other topics of interest.
We would like to note that in 2022, the Azerbaijan HR Institute successfully organized the "Baku International HR Forum" and the "Baku International CEO Summit," and in 2023, the "Global HR Summit."
