World Federation of People Management Associations (WFPMA)

The World Federation of People Management Associations (WFPMA) is a global federation that brings together professional organizations working in human resources and people management. Established in 1976, WFPMA promotes international cooperation, knowledge and experience sharing, and the advancement of the HR profession. The Federation represents more than 95 national people management associations and approximately 600,000 HR professionals worldwide.

WFPMA’s key areas of activity include strengthening the global HR network, sharing best practices and research, fostering international professional connections, and promoting modern approaches to human resources management. The Federation also contributes to the development of the global HR community through initiatives such as the World HR Congress, held biennially, as well as international research and professional initiatives.

Azerbaijan HR Institute is represented within the WFPMA membership structure through the European Association for People Management (EAPM) and is listed as the official member organization representing Azerbaijan. This cooperation provides opportunities for Azerbaijani HR professionals to engage with the international HR community, exchange knowledge and expertise, and strengthen Azerbaijan’s representation in the global HR landscape.

The partnership between Azerbaijan HR Institute and WFPMA contributes to strengthening Azerbaijan’s international HR connections, facilitating the exchange of global practices, and increasing the visibility of the country’s HR ecosystem within the international professional community.
