A Memorandum of Understanding on mutual cooperation was signed between the Azerbaijan Tourism and Management University (ATMU) and the Azerbaijan HR Institute (AHRI). The document was signed by Zaur Baghirov, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Professor at Azerbaijan Tourism and Management University, and Emil Huseynov, Director of the Azerbaijan HR Institute.

 

The purpose of the memorandum is to foster joint cooperation in the preparation of qualified personnel and the development of relevant skills and knowledge in their respective fields.

 

The document outlines key areas of collaboration, including organizing agreed-upon specialized training to continuously enhance students' skills and knowledge and working together to meet future staffing needs. It also includes jointly developing curricula and training programs tailored to industry needs, organizing joint production and training within the framework of public-private partnerships, promoting entrepreneurial skills among students, facilitating internships and practical training at employers' facilities in accordance with the rules established between the parties, strengthening connections with employers in the fields of tourism and management, and organizing joint programs to encourage students to acquire soft skills.
