International HR Summit 2025, organized by the Azerbaijan HR Institute and sponsored by Meditopia, was held in Baku on May 20, 2025 – International HR Day. The event brought together representatives of the European Association for People Management (EAPM), HR associations from the Maldives, Türkiye, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, as well as CHROs and HR professionals from local and international organizations.

Emil Huseynov, Founder and Director of the Azerbaijan HR Institute, noted that International HR Summit 2025 is aligned with the third priority of “Azerbaijan 2030: National Priorities for Socio-Economic Development”, approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, on February 2, 2021.

The third priority, “Competitive Human Capital and Modern Innovations,” served as one of the key foundations of the summit. The event focused on global innovations in human resources, technological developments and modern HR practices, while creating opportunities for professional dialogue, knowledge exchange and sharing of international experience.

One of the most significant milestones of International HR Summit 2025 was the establishment of the “Union of Turkic States HR Alliance” in Baku for the first time, on May 20 – International HR Day.

The summit brought together CHROs of local and international organizations, leaders of global HR associations and representatives of government institutions to discuss the latest developments and future perspectives in human capital management.

Throughout the event, participants exchanged views on global HR trends, digital HR and artificial intelligence, leadership in HR, and the future of learning and development. The discussions provided HR professionals with new perspectives, international insights and modern practices relevant to the evolving world of work.
