World HR Summit 2026 was organized by the Azerbaijan HR Institute, with the support of the World Federation of People Management Associations (WFPMA), LinkedIn as the main partner, BEOC and Neosis Consulting as Gold Sponsors, Idenfit as Silver Sponsor, and PAŞA Life as Insurance Partner. The summit was held on May 1, 2026, at Fairmont Baku, Flame Towers.
Organized for the first time by the Azerbaijan HR Institute, World HR Summit 2026 brought together 500+ HR leaders, CEOs, entrepreneurs, government officials and C-level professionals from 50 countries and 5 continents. The theme of the summit was “Creating Value Together.” The event focused on advancing new approaches in human resources, introducing cutting-edge innovations and technologies, and facilitating the exchange of international experiences through dialogue and discussions.
Emil Huseynov, Founder and Director of the Azerbaijan HR Institute, noted that World HR Summit 2026 is aligned with the “Competitive Human Capital and Modern Innovations” priority defined within the “Azerbaijan 2030: National Priorities for Socio-Economic Development”, approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, on February 2, 2021. The summit aims to contribute to the development of human capital by bringing together international HR practices, modern technologies, innovations and professional expertise.
The summit brought together HR leaders from local and international organizations, representatives of leading global HR associations, government officials and C-level professionals to discuss global HR trends, emerging challenges and the future of human resource management.
The agenda featured panel discussions on “Global Trends in HR Management & New Challenges,” “People-Centered Leadership & Lifelong Growth,” and “AI & HR Leadership: Bridging Technology and Humanity.” Participants exchanged insights on digital HR, artificial intelligence, leadership, learning and development, the future of work and modern HR strategies.
The summit also featured the “World HR Excellence Awards” ceremony, recognizing individuals and organizations for excellence, innovation and outstanding achievements in the field of HR and business.
It is worth noting that the Azerbaijan HR Institute has successfully organized a number of major events, including Baku International CEO Summit 2022, Global HR Summit 2023, World HR Summit 2024, COP29 Human Capital Forum, and International HR Summit 2025. These events have brought together HR leaders, business representatives and international experts to facilitate knowledge exchange and discussions on the future of human resources.
